How You Do One Thing Is How You Do Everything

How you do one thing is how you do everything. For example, if someone was standing in front of you and let’s say 50 other people and this person held up a $100 bill. As he waived the $100 bill in the air he says “Who wants this $100?” What would you do? What do you think 99% of the people in the room with you would do?

Would you:

A. Sit there and think to yourself “I want it! I’ll take it.” etc

B. Raise your hand hoping he will walk over to you and give it to you

C. Get up and go take it out of his hand?

When I first read this story in Jack Canfield’s book The Success Principles I was thinking to myself I would have sat there and did nothing. Jack writes in his book that:

How you do anything is how you do everything

I for one would have sat there because I would be too worried about looking desperate. That and I would be too worried what the others thought about me. This made me think about my business, my life, my goals, everything!

I was NOT showing up for even the little things because I was too worried what others would think. I would put off making videos, posting my blog posts, talking about my business, my goals, my dreams, and so much more because I was too worried about what other people would say or think.

So let me ask you… what is holding you back? What ever it is its holding you back in every aspect of your life. You can let go and you can move on. You just have to identify what it is you are afraid of then break through it with full force. You can do this! I know you can! I did it and you can too!

What is one thing you do that shows up every where else?
