Give Up Blaming and Take Responsibility

Give up blaming and take responsibility for your choices and actions. You may not want to hear this but I am going to tell you anyways… you are where you are because of the choices you made.
- Are you in a job that you hate? If you are you chose to stay there.
- Did you have a dream that you gave up on? Where are you now? Doing something that someone else chose for you? Well, you accepted it.
- Have you gained weight in the past year? I bet you slacked on your exercise and maybe even ate some not so healthy food, huh?
Let me ask you this…
- have you tried or are you currently trying a home business? How is it going? Are you struggling? Why are you struggling? Who is to blame?
My point with all these questions is to show you that until you give up blaming others and take responsibility for your choices and actions you won’t ever be able to move on and get to where you want to be in life.
Responsibility Is Powerful
I like how Jack Canfield puts it:
If you are going to be a winner, you have to acknowledge the truth – it is you who took the actions, thought the thoughts, created the feelings, and made the choices that got you to where you are now. It was you!
I struggled for most of my life. Not because I grew up in poverty but because of the choices I made, the actions I took, and the thoughts I thought.
I used to believe the world was against me and God hated me and I was doomed. I honestly truly believed this.
When I gave up blaming God along with the world and took responsibility for my own actions, feelings, and even thoughts things began to dramatically change in my life. I say dramatically because if my life was a movie it would be a drama, I don’t even like drama, go figure, haha.
Is what you are currently doing, feeling, thinking going to help you get where you want to go? Need to think about that. What are you blaming? Who are you blaming? Are you or have you taken responsibility? Is there something in your past you’re holding onto? Let go of it and take responsibility.
